UK flower delivery services are going to be the most busy in London for Valentines Day, so says new research from online florist SerenataFlowers.com.
The survey states that Londoners sent the most flowers and spent the most money on flowers around February 14th 2011, with Glaswegians ranking second.
Men from Glasgow are increasing their expenditure on bouquets in spite of the difficult economic times we are experiencing, with the amount being spent on flowers going up by 15 per cent from 2010 to 2011.
Traditional choices of red rose bouquets and a single red rose remain popular for Valentine's Day.
The website's manager stated that they had even been asked to deliver a bouquet of bananas last year, much to the amazement of everyone at the online florists .
