Monica F Hewitt florists is one of Sheffield's longest established florists and has just celebrated forty years in the florist business .
To mark its 40 years in the business, the florists located on the edge of Hillsborough Park hosted a week of celebrations.
Monica’s daughter Helen Murray, who also works for her in the business, said that friends and customers joined them in the celebrations and had an opportunity to peruse their beautiful selection of flowers and plants .
The shop displayed its own memorabilia from the last four decades for the benefit of customers.
It was time for a double celebration as on September 8th its most recent member of staff, April Bell, aged 17, won the prestigious title of UK Retail Apprentice of the Year.
It was a double accolade for the business which is renowned for its ability to adapt to the times and its excellent customer care .
It goes to show that this florist business has been providing a tailored customer service since it was established forty years ago.
