There are going to be more than 250, 000 types of flowers on display at the three day Covai Flower Show which is going to start on January 6 2012 in Tamil Nadu, India.
The flower show is going to be held at the Botanical Gardens of Tamil Nadu Agricultural University (TNAU).
The show aims to promote the conservation of nature and the environment.
It also aims to educate children and the public about how many different flowers there are.
It unites the talents of horticulturists, florists and floricultural businesses to market their concepts and experience.
The TNAU and local Rotary club have united to host this flower show.
Proceeds from the show are going to be used for different projects, such as, the elimination of polio, providing books to students as well as catering for the needs of specific local orphanages.
