Those working in florists are some of the worst paid employees in the UK.
For the second year running, statistics highlight that waiters and waitresses are the worst-paid UK employees.
Whilst full-time salaries for employees in that category fell somewhat, total figures accounting for part-time waiting staff displayed a sharper percentage decrease of 11.2%.
Full-time salaries for hairdressers and florists also dropped sharply, by 4.4% and 7.1% respectively.
Sales assistants and fishmongers are the full-time occupations which showed the highest salary gains, with sales assistants seeing their median full-time pay increase by 7.7% and fishmongers recording a 12.1% year on year rise over the same period.
Creating floral arrangements may not be the financially rosiest profession there is after all.
