Hertfordshire Flower Arrangement Classes Up And Running

Tue, 05 Oct 2010

Florists in Welwyn Garden City have launched a new class aimed at teaching people how to create the perfect flower arrangements .

The Hertfordshire Flower School has been put together by Paul and Nicola Gibson, owners of WGC’s Lambert’s Flower Company who have more than 25 years experience working in the flower industry.

Commenting on the "long overdue" launch, Paul said: "We’ve been promising our customers for ages that we would start regular classes but could never seem to find the necessary time to fit them into our already hectic work schedule but we’re delighted to announce that we’ve finally done it."

Those who attend the specially themed creative classes will receive insider tips and guidance on flower designs from Nicola Gibson.

"Everyone of all abilities are welcome, from the novice to keen amateurs," she said. "If you love flowers then you should definitely consider joining us for an evening or two, or how about a six-week course."

The expert floral designer added: "We are confident that you’ll have a wonderful time while learning some new skills at the same time.

"What better way to spend a couple of hours than to be among an abundance of beautiful flowers, a relaxing and therapeutic experience in itself."

The flower arrangement class is held in store on selected Wednesdays from 7pm to 9pm, and costs £49 per session or £45 for customers who book three classes together.

Latest details about the scheduled class dates and themes can be found online at Lambertsflorist.co.uk.
