A florist shop in Coventry, Warwickshire, is celebrating after its staff scooped top prizes at a prestigious floristry competition.
Three members of staff from Hubbards florist in the Holbrooks area of the city entered the annual British Floristry Association show in Nottingham in November for the first time and have now been awarded certificates in three different categories.
Charlotte Baker, who has been working at the shop for five years, came first in her category of the Nevada Rose competition after seeing off competition from 40 other florists from around the country.
The 19-year-old said: "I do quite a lot of competitions but I work a lot better under pressure rather than taking weeks to compose something."
"Everyone else in the competition went along the same lines to create their piece so I did something completely different and I think the judges liked that."
There was also success for fellow colleagues Sheena Lennon and Vicky Rymell who both came third in their respective categories.
Meanwhile, a florist from nearby Kenilworth has received a Citizen of the Year award for her contribution to the local community.
Barbara Sheppard was presented with the award by the Rotary Club of Kenilworth.
