London Florist Shows Support For NSPCC

Tue, 10 Nov 2009

A florist in Ealing, West London, has created a special flower bouquet in support of the NSPCC children’s charity .

Each ‘Winter Wonderland' bouquet sold by The Cracked Pot Flower Boutique will result in a £4 donation to the charity's Child's Voice Appeal.

According to the NSPCC, this amount can help pay for a ChildLine counsellor to answer calls from vulnerable children.

The hand-tied bouquet is packed full of white gerbera and roses, thistle, eucalyptus and silver hypericum, comes wrapped in silver tissue paper and cellophane and is delivered in a silver aqua box.

The silver and white colour theme was chosen to reflect the joy and energy of children at Christmas .

Commenting on the seasonal initiative, Louise Dutfield, owner of the Cracked Pot Flower Boutique, said: "I get approached by so many worthwhile charities asking me to donate bouquets for raffles and balls and it's so hard to turn them all away."

"Giving it some thought, I believed it would be best to focus on one national charity and having a young son, the NSPCC seemed to be the obvious choice."

"I'm a great admirer of what they do and our aim is to raise more than £5,000 in the first year for their Child's Voice Appeal."

Prices for the Winter Wonderland bouquet range from £45 to £80, depending on size. Orders can be made online at Thecrackedpot.co.uk, or by calling 020 8579 1118.
