Interflora Launches Flower Delivery Service For Tesco Direct Shoppers

Interflora, the world's largest flower retail and delivery company, has launched a new partnership with UK supermarket giant Tesco .

The link-up between the two companies gives Tesco Direct customers access to Interflora’s entire range of flowers online via www.tescofreshflowers.com.

Through the joint flower delivery site, customers can order quality fresh flowers for every occasion, starting with Christmas .

Commenting on the move, Interflora's marketing director Michael Barringer said: "We're delighted to be offering this service to Tesco Direct customers and believe that this will be a very successful partnership between two leading brands."

Ian Crook, marketing director at Tesco.com, added: "We believe that by partnering with Interflora to offer our customers this new service, we are providing a valuable addition to our extended Direct range."

Last month, the UK's leading online florist launched a page on social networking site Facebook in a bid to reach out to new customers and improve its relationship with existing customers.

The Facebook page, which is part of the company’s customer engagement strategy, provides a shared community for Interflora fans to leave comments and post photos It also encourages fans to sign up to email promotion offers.
