A special anniversary flower planting session has been planned for local charities in 2009.
The anniversary planting takes place every year at two sites in Andover, Hampshire - the Walking Man statue at the junction of Weyhill Road and Salisbury Road and at the flowerbed opposite the town's police station in South Street.
Now local charities are being invited to get in touch with Test Valley Borough Council and register their interest before October. Charities that partake in the planting session will have their badge or logo interpreted into a floral design.
Any group wishing to be considered should contact the borough council on 01264 368813 or email adible@testvalley.gov.uk .
