Florist Creates Giant Flower Pudsey Bear For Children in Need

Thu, 13 Nov 2008

Southport businesses and schools are gearing up for this year’s Children in Need with a range of fantastic fundraising events.

One of the events for the annual charity has been created by Southport florist Aaron Mark.

The 24-year old florist designed a Pudsey Bear made from yellow, red and white chrysanthemum flowers and is asking passing shoppers to pop in and guess how many flowers were used to make it.

A guess will cost just 50p and selected winners will receive a Christmas arrangement from the Cambridge Arcade florists .

The cuddly Pudsey creation will be reused and displayed in the window of nearby Café Matisse. All money raised through the flower bear will be sent to the childrens charity .
