The blooming RHS Flower Show at Tatton Park, Cheshire, is gearing up to celebrate its tenth anniversary when it opens to the public in July.
Since being established by the Royal Horticultural Society to reinforce its presence in the North West, the show has flourished and now attracts around 100,000 garden lovers each year, with organisers expecting to see the one millionth visitor pass through the shows gates next month.
To mark its tenth birthday new attractions have been added to the flower show, including art and sculpture in and around the gardens, while striking installations, ranging from imposing copper dragons to organic willow sculptures, will be exhibited around the showground by some of Britians up and coming artists.
Visitors at this years show will also be treated to two new marquees - the Rural Crafts and Skills Pavilion, a workshop of traditional skills, coppice crafts and thatching, and the British Florist Association Marquee which will feature talks and demonstrations from talented florists as well as two live national floristry competition finals.
Furthermore, several exhibits will be dedicated to the ladies, including Nacro's `Ladies that lunch' garden and The Moorcroft Natural Woman Garden' by Blue Tulip Garden Design.
Ticket prices for the Tatton Park RHS Flower Show, which takes place from 23 27 July, start from £18 for RHS members and £21 for public tickets.
