New limited-edition vases were launched at the BBC Gardeners World exhibition, held last week.
The Bloom My Buddy vases were created by Dutch designers Niels Van Eijk and Miriam Vander Hibbe and launched by the Flowers and Plants Association in cooperation with the Flower Council of Holland .
The curvy vases feature a head, body and legs and are covered in small holes so that flowers can be inserted to create facial features or an outfit.
The Flowers and Plants Association said that the vases would be ideal for florists to use in creative product displays in their stores .
Sarah Holland, communication director for the Flowers and Plants Association, said: "The great thing about Bloom My Buddy is that you dont need a lot of flowers to make it look great."
"The Flower and Plants Association has always advocated the view you dont need lots of product to make an effective and a fun window display," she added.
The small white vases, measuring around 50cm high and made from high-quality PVC, are priced at £75, while the larger 2m high, fibre glass-produced, vases available in white, brown and pink retail at £1,600.
The Association said stocks of the vases are limited as their complex shape makes them difficult to mass produce.
