A Berkshire town is gearing up to enter this years Britain in Bloom competition.
The Bracknell Flowers campaign was officially launched on Monday with a selection of creative floral displays designed to spice up the town.
The project, organised by Bracknell Forest Council (BFC) and Bracknell Regeneration Partnership (BRP), aims to regenerate the local environment through the imaginative planting of trees, shrubs, flowers and landscaping.
Representatives from the Royal Horticultural Society will visit the town next month to judge the Bracknell Flowers entry, which organisers hope will succeed in brightening up the town centre and surrounding villages.
The Bracknell Flowers campaign will also feature the annual Your Gardens competition, which aims to encourage as many neighbours as possible to get out in the garden and have fun.
All entries will be invited to the Bracknell Flowers awards ceremony in September and the winners will receive garden centre vouchers.
