Cheshire is gearing up to host its annual gardens event this Easter, as part of the festivities taking place for the countys Year of Gardens 08.
Regarded as Britains horticulture capital, the region has more gardens open to the public - per head of population - than anywhere else in the UK .
Taking place this Easter weekend, people of all ages will be able to experience an array of events and activities at Cheshires gardens, from fun-filled family escapades to relaxing and romantic getaway adventures.
In addition, visitors booking a hotel room in Chester for one night or more over Easter will receive a prize-containing Easter Egg, giving them the chance to win anything up to £1,000 cash or use of a Ferrari 360 Spider for the long weekend.
Events taking place at this years gardens gathering include the Totally Chocolate Easter event at Tatton Park and the Follow the Easter Bunny Garden Trail, which will run from Friday 21 Sunday 23 March, 9.00am 5.00pm.
