This years National Fruit Show is set to take place from the 19-22 October, celebrating the arrival of autumn in Britain .
The hugely popular four-day event in Wisley, Woking, will welcome hundreds of fruit growers and gardeners to experience the rich variety of produce and activities on offer for all the family .
The National Fruit Show provides a superb display of competition fruit, giving visitors the opportunity to taste and buy cultivars from commercial growers, while local exhibitors get a chance to offer a range of delicious products to sample and purchase, including cider, pies, cheese and wine .
Also included in the event will be live cookery demonstrations from top chefs employed at Launceston Place, London, The Talbot, Ripley and The Inn at West End, along with talks and demonstrations from the Wisley Fruit and Trials departments and Hogs Back Brewery .
The show also caters for kids, providing them with a great range of activities to keep them entertained, including apple tasting, guided walks of fruit fields and the choice of seasonal menus in the Wisley cafes and restaurants .
