There will be a wealth of rare flowers on display at an open garden event taking place this Sunday.
Richard Hodson, a horticultural expert from Preston, Lancashire, is set to open his garden to the public and host the event between 1pm and 5pm as part of the National Garden Scheme (NGS).
On show for visitors at the Hawthornes, Marsh Lane, will be the national collection of clematis, roses, perennials and many other unique flowers, along with cakes and light refreshments .
The National Garden Scheme welcomes over half a million visitors from across England and Wales to its open events each year.
Over the past ten years the NGS has helped raise £15m for various charities including cancer research and nursing and caring facilities across the UK .
