A Yorkshire-based florist has been accepted into a recently launched directory of the UK’s finest florists – Master Florist .
Floral Elegance in Acomb, York, has been handed the accolade, which is only awarded to the best florists in the UK who become part of the directory service, allowing members of the public to order products direct.
In order to be part of the Master Florist directory, candidates must each pass a rigorous evaluation process and be approved by an independent panel of industry experts.
To apply, Floral Elegance had to submit a detailed description of its floristry business, images of the shop and of its work, references, details of any awards and its business aims.
The submitted information was then judged by an independent panel of experts, who have a reputation for rejecting most applicants – making the award that much sweeter for Floral Elegance.
"We are delighted to be accepted as a Master Florist," commented Sue Dodsworth, of Floral Elegance.
"We are passionate about flowers, design, quality and in the service we give to each of our customers ."
